Disclaimer: all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. You can run, but you can't hide as a West Monroe man is facing jail time for allegedly robbing a convenience store. According to West Monroe Police officials, Wilbert O. England Jr. entered the A-1 Convenience Store on Coleman Ave. in West Monroe LA on November 21, 2024, armed with a handgun, and allegedly fled with an unknown amount of cash. Authorities later secured an armed robbery warrant for England's arrest as they searched for him. An arrest was quickly made, as England was apprehended by authorities in Bossier Parish. He was booked on a charge of armed robbery, and his bond was set at $100,000. According to authorities, more arrests may follow as the investigation continues. Its hard to win with a losing hand.
