Lambda Rho Delta 50th

The Lambda Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta was founded at Northeast Louisiana University (NLU), currently the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM), on October 26, 1974, by eleven members. In celebration of its Golden Anniversary, the five remaining founders attended the weekend festivities on October 26, 2024, in Monroe, LA. Founding members who celebrated in person included Loe Massey Dunn, Janet Butcher McClain, Clara Harden Bell, Angela Washington Mayo, and Charmaine Price Jenkins. Other founders included the late Alverne Ford Lewis, Pearl Clark Humphries, the late Patricia Hawkins Rogers, Diane Loche Givens, Janice Riggs, and Eva Cassey.
