No Struggle, No Progress
Same Old Show
He claims he won the debate on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. No doubt, he will make the same claim when he loses the presidential race this coming November. Thank goodness for the ABC moderators who had the courage to fact-check. Too many times, mainstream media has failed the public by allowing this man to spew false statements without any regard for the truth. Take, for example, a man who was too afraid to serve his country, claiming bone spurs, with later reports of him being traumatized by a helicopter incident, who suddenly found his courage while defying Secret Service protection. Amidst a blaze of bullets, he displayed a Nazi symbol, only to later change it to a clenched fist, all the while yelling… "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT."
A twenty-year-old, reportedly a registered Republican, positioned himself in the one spot overlooked by security and fired a weapon into a crowd of people, supposedly with the intent to injure or assassinate Donald J. Trump. Bear in mind, the shooter had already been pointed out by bystanders to the authorities.
In the end, the shooter was eliminated and thus silenced. Trump supposedly lost a piece of his ear. However, no information has been released to the public—by way of medical records, pictures, or otherwise—to support this claim. The only evidence we are expected to accept is a bandage Trump proudly displays at every opportunity, except at the debate. Furthermore, there were no signs of ear damage that night. Some say that if Trump had truly lost a piece of his ear, he would have retrieved it and put it up for sale on eBay. I’m waiting for the day when the bandage is switched to the other ear. As with the case of "Cadet Bone Spur," who now cannot recall which foot was supposedly affected.
My take: it was all staged to boost Trump’s campaign, which was losing steam due to VP Harris's surging popularity in the polls. The victim was collateral damage.
Too often, we are too credulous—quick to accept even the most outlandish assertions. And, as mentioned, the news media often challenges nothing when it comes to Republicans and their acolytes or sycophants' gaslighting. They tell us that January 6 was a peaceful, nonviolent protest and that we should not believe our own eyes. The Republicans question everything. Trump even disputed that Joe Biden contracted COVID a few weeks ago.
As for me, I have many questions. But I’ve seen this show before—with Malcolm X, JFK, MLK, et cetera. Fool me twice, shame on me.
