Stabbing Dispute

Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. When a dispute occurs between two individuals, and there is no possible resolution in sight, the best thing we are told to do is walk away. A dispute can be for any reason, but violence is not the solution to solve it. Usually someone pays a bigger price for their actions. A local woman is behind bars from being in a dispute where violence was allegedly involved. According to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call at a West Monroe Dollar General store on August 16, 2024 in reference to a stabbing. When deputies arrived at the scene, they were advised that a suspect who would be identified as 33-year-old Tiffany L. Dowles was allegedly involved in an altercation with someone that led to the victim being stabbed. Dowles fled the scene before deputies arrived, as the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies located Dowles in the parking lot of Brookshires in West Monroe, as she was taken into custody. According to the Sheriff's Office, the victim was in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Dowles was charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder, and her bond was set at $751,500. There is a B.A.L.M. in Monroe and the U.S., a spiritual solution to a social problem.
