100th Anniversary Mt. Nebo Rosenwald School/ 35th Atkins Quarters/Prichard Addition Family Day

The Mt. Nebo Playground Committee is sponsoring the 100th Anniversary of the Mt. Nebo Rosenwald Elementary School and the 35th Anniversary of the Atkins Quarters/Prichard Addition Annual Family Day on August 2, and 3, 2024 in Monroe LA. Do you or did you live in the area? Did you attend the Mt Nebo Elementary School? If so, we want to see your face on those days. We are having a ‘Meet and Greet’ on Friday August 2nd at 4p.m. at the Emily P. Robinson Community Center in Monroe LA. On Saturday at 2 p.m., our activities will include the unveiling of the Louisiana Historical Marker for the Mt Nebo Rosenwald Elementary School and celebrating both the 100th and 35th anniversaries with fun and food. Saturday’s activities will be held at the Mt Nebo Playground at the corner of Jackson St and Thomas Ave in Monroe LA. See you there!!
