Jake Wood's Final Farwell

Jake Woods Jr. was born in Monroe LA on August 23, 1944 to Jake Woods, Sr. and Orell Woods (Nee Johnson). He was the sixth of ten children. After a year of college in Wilmington DE, Jake relocated to Oakland CA where he married Betty Zander. Together they had and raised three children, LaTrina Denise, Jake DeAndre and JeMahi D'Shea Woods. Jake 79, transitioned from this life on June 14, 2024 in Monroe LA. He leaves to mourn his passing wife Betty Zander Woods, his three children LaTrina Walton, Jake and JeMahl Woods. His cousin who was kike a daughter called him "uncle daddy" Tonja White, his sisters Estella "Shug" Woods, Linda Woods and his best friend for more than 70 years Willie J. Riley.
