City Council Fifth District Community/Listening Meeting (no.1)

Monroe residents of District 5 are invited to participate in the inaugural Community/Listening Meeting hosted by Monroe City Councilman Verbon Muhammad Sr. The meeting will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Carver Elementary School, located at 1700 Orange St, Monroe, LA 71202.

The purpose of the meeting is to listen to residents' concerns and collaborate on solutions to improve the quality of life in District 5. Updates will be provided on future and ongoing projects, the Senior Citizens Academy, and public works and planning and zoning initiatives. City officials will be present to engage with attendees.
