No Struggle, No Progress

Does Your Child Know?

When I was a little girl, my dad and mom taught me many things. They taught me manners, proper hygiene, how to save money, how to defend myself and more.

Above all things though, my dad taught me to always pray.

Of course, I didn't know the invisible being I was speaking to, but my dad knew that in time, the more I prayed, the more I'd grow to know the God that created me. I certainly did.

Later on in life, I had two girls, and I taught them to pray. Above all things that I've taught them, having their own relationship with God was number one. I knew one thing: money, cars, clothes, popularity and not even education would do for them, what God always has and will do.

I want to ask you an important question: Does your child know God? If not, he/she is missing the most vital, important part of life. God gives their life meaning. He sustains them; they should know that.

It's okay that you teach them other valuable things, but nothing in this world is more valuable than a true relationship with the One who formed them in their mother's womb. Teach your children about God. They (like you do), have an appointment with Him one day.

They need Him even now. This world is dark, and in this darkness- when they can't see their way, they need to know that HE is THE Way!
