Missing Person Found in River

There have been several missing person reports filed in the area over the past few months. Some cases have ended happily, while others have had tragic outcomes. Within the last week, another individual was reported missing. Christopher Muse, 32, reportedly left his Michael Circle residence in Monroe, LA, on June 25, 2024, and was subsequently found deceased. A body discovered in the Ouachita River near the Endom Bridge, which connects Monroe to West Monroe, was confirmed by Monroe Police on June 26, 2024. Details of the discovery remain sketchy as the investigation continues, but authorities have confirmed the victim was male. As of June 30, 2024 (and at press time), MPD announced a "potential" identification of the victim. According to authorities, the victim has been identified as Christopher Muse.
