Keep Louisiana Beautiful

Author Wendy Carbo from Baton Rouge, LA, visited Carver-McDonald Branch Library at 2941 Renwick St. in Monroe, LA, on June 24, 2024, and read to students from her new book, "Harry the Snakebird." New Vision Learning Academy in Monroe, LA, under the leadership of Executive Director Dr. Andrea Miller, brought Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Others attending the book talk included students from Wright Way Daycare and Faith Brighten Academy. Students received autographed books from the author. Special thanks to Branch Manager Joyce Powell.
