Get You Friends That Let You Down

In Luke 5, Jesus was doing what Jesus does; He was healing and saving lives. The power of the Lord was on display. It always is if we pay attention and believe today.

There was a sick man who was unable to take himself to Jesus. He was unable, but his friends were able. They carried him on a bed, but there was no way to get him through the large crowd. They were desperate though; therefore, they took desperate measures. They made a hole in the roof over where Jesus stood. Then they let the bed with the sick man on it down to where Jesus was. When Jesus saw THEIR faith, He said to the man, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Jesus saw THEIR faith, and their friend was forgiven and healed. Look, it's time to remove yourself from friends that gossip, love drama and mess and put you down. Get you some friends that LET YOU DOWN- all the way to Jesus!!
