No Struggle, No Progress
Donald Trump by all means is not a farmer. He is a little too elite for that. Yes, conservatives don't want to admit it, but just from the results of his fundraiser recently held at his Florida home, he was hanging out with the "fat cats" of wealth. Trump reportedly raised $50 million which will aid him in his fight just to stay out of jail, didn't get all of that much money in one night from the poor people. If that had been someone like Barack Obama doing the same for President Joe Biden, conservatives would have been howling about "Hollywood elites" bankrolling Biden leading their supporters to lament that Democrats are "not for the little man". Everyone knows that Trump needs money, lots of it to buy as much time as he can to avoid any possible jail time. In addition, it looks as though Trump's lawyers are being paid this time. If there is going to be a repeat from 2020, Trump will need all the lawyers that he already has and then some if he loses the upcoming presidential election. As mentioned Trump is not a farmer, but he is laying down the "fertilizer" just in case he loses by sowing doubt that the election will be stolen from him. Unless something drastically happens, Trump appears to be losing the election even though the polls may have him and Mr. Biden "even" in the polls, one has to wonder if enough voters will elect someone like Trump into office while under the shadow of 88 criminal indictments. There is hardly a day that goes by without Trump and his surrogates trying to tie Biden to corruption when there is no hard/substantial evidence that Biden ever committed any crime. It is the doubt that Trump wants to sow in the minds of those who once looked upon him with favor during his first run as president. He still has Republicans in Congress and in statehouses around the nation who continue to turn a blind eye to the antics and words of Trump who "see no wrong" in his actions that has led him to be in the legal situation of his own doing. He will use his campaign rallies and outbursts against judges who he says are biased against him further sowing the seed of doubt that he hopes will resonate with undecided voters before they pull the lever. Perhaps the big question may be whether Trump will call for another march on Capitol Hill if he loses. There is no doubt that there will be a big appetite by his supporters for him "to do something" and not just through the courts. Even now the Supreme Court may decide whether he has "immunity" from criminal prosecution as a sitting president that may save him at the federal level, but not at the criminal levels. It won't matter because in Trump's case, all that he wants to see from the seeds of doubt is chaos in the nation's streets and courts. Granted, there are those whose minds are already made up as to who they are voting for, but in a nation where information is almost instantaneous, there will always be those who will distort the truth and change the meaning of it just to cast that doubt. In an age where video can show us a clear picture, it is still believe what you hear, because words are still the quickest way to spread a lie. Remember, the world is watching. So is God.
