No Struggle, No Progress
There is a video of a toddler putting on his first pair of eyeglasses making its rounds via social media. In the clip, a nurse is applying glasses attached with an eyeglass string to the youngster as he plays, looking down. The eyeglasses cover his eyes, and he looks up, and the camera captures him as he gleefully looks to follow the image of his mother's voice.
The tot, who appears to be about a year old, is beaming with great delight, confirming the glasses have transformed his vision. As the video nears an end, his mom's voice is heard, commentating on the joy her son is displaying as he looks at her with love and uses his newfound gift of sight to take in what he can clearly see for the first time.
This wholesome video reminds me of two things - hearing the voice of God and seeing His marvelous works.
We like the little boy, do not have to see to believe, but how blessed are we though to have a Heavenly Father who allows us many opportunities to see Him when we seek Him?
And He continues to call on us to get a clear vision of Him and His hand at work in our lives.
Let us continue to live in faith that God will give us fresh revelation if we continue to seek Him. Each revelation replenishing our faith over and over again.
We serve a great Father.
