Taurian Collins Jr., a first grader at JS Clark Magnet School in Monroe LA, has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by being accepted into MENSA, the largest high-IQ association globally. MENSA, founded in 1946, boasts a membership of over 150,000 individuals worldwide. Membership in MENSA is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional levels of scholastic achievement.

The organization offers access to gifted programs, scholarships, and intellectually stimulating content designed to further the academic journeys of its members. Taurian Collins Jr. stood out as an ideal candidate due to his natural intellect and curiosity. His acceptance into MENSA marks a significant achievement at such a young age.

Taurian expressed excitement about the knowledge and opportunities that being a MENSA member will bring him. His parents, Jessica and Taurian Collins Sr., expressed immense pride in their son, referring to him as their "future NASA engineer."
