Norman Felton's Unexpected Farewell

Norman Lee Felton was born on September 21, 1943, in Monroe, LA, the sixth of ten children born to Rev. Arthur Felton Sr. and Bessie Scott Felton. After graduating from Carroll High School in Monroe, LA, in 1964, he served in the US Army from 1964 to 1967. In 1967, Norman relocated to San Diego, CA, where he met and married Alice Conley. His faith was central to his life, having accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and being baptized in the Ouachita River in 1955. Norman was a dedicated member of Zion Spring Baptist Church in Monroe and worked in construction where he was master skillsman with sheetrock. Norman passed away on February 14, 2024, preceded in death by his parents and brothers Arthur Felton Jr., Henry Lee, and Isaac Felton. He is survived by his sisters - Annie Mae Payne, Jessie M. Schott, Ellen Batch (Charles), Bessie Jean Felton, and brothers - Louis Felton (Mary) and Otis Felton (Carmelita). Norman will be dearly missed. Details about his services will be announced by the funeral home.
