Dear Community Partners, Faze Two, Inc., is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Monroe Louisiana. Our founder, Coach Davey Mays, established this organization in May 2023 to do something about the ever-increasing problem our young people are facing in the streets and neighborhoods on the southside of Monroe. As he saw the consistent downfall of the youth in his community, instead of just being a bystander, Coach Mays began working to mold the lives of disadvantaged youth and young adults ages 5-18 into more hopeful and healthy lives. Perseverance through endurance is a key belief of Faze Two, Inc. We teach participants to maintain a positive lifestyle through academic success and physical activity. Studies have shown that sports engagement can counter the statistics of delinquencies and victimization born from youth idleness. (Scan QR code to read on article concerning this research.) At Faze TWO, we provide a carefully structured atmosphere where participants also learn discipline through sports such as football and basketball. In addition, participants also receive life skills that will help them navigate life post-secondary school. We teach our youth this old adage that will ring true throughout the years, "Hard work pays off!" Our organization not only focuses on sports, but we strive to help each child individually maintain stability and have positive social and behavioral interactions throughout their neighborhoods and schools. Additionally, we believe in the integrity and dignity of ALL participants. We have an "open-door" policy, and we DO NOT T'URN any child away! Most importantly, we work hard not to allow any participant to regress in their transformed physical appearance, attitudes, discipline, teamwork, friendships, and smiling faces. Coach Mays and his youth football teams have won five championships in basketball and six championships in football. As this new season is in full effect, we are seeking responsible community and corporate sponsors like yourself to provide financial support. To further the growth of our organization, we recently obtained our IRS 501c3 tax exempt status, which means your donations are tax deductible. Your tax-deductible contributions of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Finally, your financial contribution will enable us to purchase sports equipment, such as, footballs. Basketballs, shoulder pads, cleats, basketball shoes, and other safety equipment. Also, your donations will help to cover our travel expenses for educational and athletic field trips.
