No Struggle, No Progress
Carroll High School in Monroe LA has and will always be a beacon of hope in our community. Its academic, athletic, band, choir and stem legacy was laid in 1953 by its first principal Legendary Morris Henry Carroll who demanded excellence from students who didn't realize their greatness. The Carroll Mystic was set long ago and remains in the hearts of those who witnessed its glory then and now. This is why we still sing thy praises to Carroll High School. Recognizing those who made Carroll High School great were the Howell Brothers, Delles, the late Lane and Michael Howell. All three were students and athletes who starred at Carroll, Grambling and the NFL.
