No Struggle, No Progress
Raymond Spivey Sr. retired after nearly 48 years with Graphic Packaging International. His career spanned beginning in 1976 as a general laborer in the Olinkraft carton plant (known as Plant 70) in West Monroe, Louisiana. He held several titles over the years, the most rewarding to him being senior packaging inventor. As you walk down the aisles of your grocery store, you can see Raymond's impact. His name is on more than 150 plus paperboard packaging patents, and the most recognizable is likely GPI's "Fridge Vendor" beverage carton.
