No Struggle, No Progress
Thirteen (13) years ago, my beloved daughter, Victoria Stevenson Moore Archangel died in a car accident. When I found out about the accident, I wanted to die. It was the worst news to hear. Nevertheless, I cannot imagine parents finding out that their children were gunned down and killed. I am a State Representative, I am a mother, and I am grieving with the parents. Their children were gunned down and killed. It is like experiencing my daughter's death all over again. Yes, my heart is very heavy, and I need you to tell me what can I do to stop the killing in our community?
1. Do I need to call a community meeting? √ Done that.
2. Do I need to parade up and down the streets screaming STOP THE KILLING? √Done that.
3. Do I need to pray and fast, begging God to change people's hearts? √ Done that.
4. Do I need to pass tougher laws to lock them up?
What? You tell me what I need to do. Enough is enough!
Please call, text, email or meet with me to discuss what we can do to change things.
