No Struggle, No Progress
It’s no mystery how dirty politics can get; Monroe is no exception. It’s disheartening to see just how dirty it can get though. The nasty elections, the targeted officials, the careless words and lost friendships, are causing missed opportunities, for the city to progress. It’s not a small matter, and God will judge all perpetrators. Citizens are suffering. There is no reasons that adults, who say they care about the progress of the city as a whole, should conduct themselves in such an immature manner. Shame on any of you that are involved in something so selfish, that you fight the team (current administration) of the voters‘ choice, because your individual “picks” aren’t in office. Now, what everyone should do (including citizens), is fairly assess matters and express concerns. Citizens have a right to say, “Hey, I chose you and you to represent me. What’s going on?” What shouldn’t be done, is the nitpicking. Monroe is so divided. It’s black, white, this side, that side, this clique and that clique, and that’s why the city is in the shape its in. No city divided against itself will ever stand; could that be why Monroe for the past twenty something years, is in such a fallen state? Get it together Monroe. God is not pleased. He cares deeply for His people that are suffering there.
