Monroe Shootings' Epidemic

We live in a mean world where wrong and right are now easily twisted, confusing the rules. According to police reports, Ouachita deputies were summoned to a shooting on Winnsboro Rd. and Hadley St. in Monroe, LA on October 22, 2023 in the early morning hours, where they found a victim shot 13 times in his vehicle. Video surveillance revealed the shooting and two male suspects involved. Both suspects had black hoodies covering their heads, moving towards the suspect's vehicle and firing numerous shots. Upon speaking with the victim to no avail of details, witnesses allegedly identified suspects Jailan Jones and Marico Holden. As a result of being shot 13 times, the suspect allegedly seems to be paralyzed. Holden was arrested Tuesday, October 31, 2023 and charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder. Holden's bond was set at $1,000,000. Law enforcement are searching for Jones. If you know the whereabouts of Jones, be sure to contact authorities at 318-329-1200.
