Sterlington High School's Tre Burch (#23) was named DownSouth Sports Magazine's Most Valuable Player of the Game in the Sterlington's 46-6 victory over Carroll on September 22, 2023 at Thomas-Blade Stadium at Carroll High School in Monroe LA. Tre had a blocked field goal, 5 solo tackles, 3 quarterback hurries, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 rush for 32 yards.
