No Struggle, No Progress
It seems like I have waited to become a senior in high school forever. Even though I skipped kindergarten, it seems like it took this year forever to come. Now that it is here, I have so many mixed emotions. I sometimes wonder how life will be after leaving my parents, how college life will be, etc. Although my mom has exposed me to so many different colleges, and I have seen the college life for myself, there still is a feeling of nervousness that I can’t shake. Another thing that is strange, is how fast the school year is already flying by; my mom has made me promise to make a college decision by January of 2024 and I am still debating on how to do that. So far, I have already received 12 college acceptance letters and one complete full ride. My GPA is currently a 3.96 unweighted and a 4.26 weighted and I have a 24 on my ACT. My life as a senior in high school is off to a fantastic start. I am also a prestigious Les Martinique Debutante, which has really been cool. If I had any advice to give my peers and those who are approaching their senior year of high school, I would say take it slow but enjoy it while you can because the time will fly by before you know it. Last but not least, MAKE EVERY MEMORY COUNT!
