The Northeast Louisiana Sickle Anemia Foundation held its 42nd Annual Banquet on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Monroe Civic Center, celebrating a memorable occasion for its members and supporters. The well-attended fundraiser featured the Honorable State Representative Tammy T. Phelps of District 3 as its guest keynote speaker. "Doing Our B.E.S.T. for Sickle Cell" was the theme for the banquet with a purpose.
