Shot Fired at Mother

Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. A local man who allegedly made threats to kill the mother of a woman with whom he was in a relationship was arrested recently. Monroe Police were summoned to a residence on Malvern St. in Monroe, LA, on July 23, 2023, regarding a possible hostage situation. Officers were also told that a shooting may have taken place at the residence.
