Terrance "Nut" Lewis Moving Home

Hearts are saddened upon hearing about the passing of Terrance "Nut" Lewis, 65, especially in Newtown residences in Monroe, LA, which is where he grew up. Terrence Lewis was born November 25, 1957 and was baptized as an infant at Little Flower Catholic Church. He attended Little Flower Academy in his elementary and Jr High school years. He attended Wossman High School and graduated in 1977. After high school, he gained employment at the Louisiana Training Institute (Swanson) until he retired. In Newtown, Terrance was iconic and well-known. In his growing years, Terrance was one of the basketball managers at St. Frederick High School, where he inspired a 1973 2A basketball team to a district championship in the school's glory years. His motivation carried throughout his life, and he challenged others to become great. He will truly be missed, especially being a voice of reason for many. His funeral services are Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Monroe, LA. Visitation is Friday, May 19, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home in Monroe, LA. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Terrance Lewis transitioned to his heavenly home May 10,2023, and will truly be missed.
