No Struggle, No Progress
Psalm 105:1-19 Until the time when his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tried him.
When discussing the Bible, one can't help but speak about the story of Joseph. It was horrible to be thrown in a pit
by his own flesh and blood, but he survived. Then, he was sold into slavery. Then, after arriving to his destination,
he was falsely accused & imprisoned (talk about a bad hand). I'm sure he had more than his share of conversations with God. It looked bad, but again, he survived. The pit was only but for a little while. The prison was a longer stay, but still only a little while-compared to the place of promotion. Joseph didn't remain in the pit. He didn’t remain a slave. He didn't remain in prison, but he did remain ruler. He was only promoted- never demoted. What you go through can make you feel like what God's destined for your life was just something you thought of and had it wrong. That’s not true. Who knows WHAT Joseph was thinking in the pit- that dark place. He could've been like, " Man, what is this? All because of a revelation, a dream?" Who knows what he quietly thought to himself while serving time for a crime he never committed. He could've been like, "God, this is so unfair. What did I do to deserve this?" We don’t know. We do know for sure that the Word
Joseph got- even in his dream- tried him, until it was fulfilled in his life. You must know that this is the same with all who are
God’s. We will be tried. It’s okay; He will deliver. There isn't a pit or a prison that can keep you out of the palace. No
hate, envy or lie is strong enough to push back the promise. What God has declared over your life- even in visions- it shall be. It shall come to pass. Keep going!
