No Struggle, No Progress
Some are raving about AI and other new modern efficiencies that are now becoming more well-known, but I think it is time to evaluate our future.
There are some benefits of AI.
1 - AI will bring more automation to jobs, which will potentially lead to job displacement in some industries. 2 - AI is being used in healthcare to develop more accurate diagnoses and better treatments, potentially improving healthcare outcomes. 3 - AI is being used to improve customer experiences and service. 4 - AI is used to improve safety and identify potential safety hazards. There are many other ways AI is being used.
Despite its enhancements to society, there are many dangers of AI. Some potential dangers of AI include job displacement, bias and discrimination, privacy violations, and misuse of powerful technology by bad actors. Additionally, there are concerns about AI becoming too advanced and potentially surpassing human intelligence, which could have unpredictable consequences.
All in all, the simple life as we once knew it no longer exists, and that is both good and bad. What will be most important is that we hold government leaders accountable to continue researching and developing AI responsibly and ethically to mitigate these risks.
