No Struggle, No Progress
Center – Brittney Burton, Wossman (Jr.) - Although Burton wasn't an everyday starter for the Lady Cats, it had nothing to do with her talent. Burton can also make an argument for "most dominant" with her 6'4 frame making an obvious mismatch in the girls game. She's not just tall though, she has the skill and touch of a smaller player and can even run the floor with the guards. When she touches it inside, she's a guaranteed bucket and she's only a junior. Burton is also one of those Lady 'Cats that received MVP votes and with a senior season coming around the corner, expect tons of college coaches knocking at her door soon.
Season Averages: 13 Ppg, 11 RPG, 4 BPG
Guard – Anyra Wilson, Wossman (Soph.) - Wilson Was Just One Of A Few Lady 'Cats That Could Have Been The MVP, But If There's Anyone Humble Enough to Handle Not Being It – Its Her! Wilson's Sophomore Campaign Was Remarkable As She Led Wossman In Assists And Steals In 2023 While Also Averaging 14 Ppg For The 2-Time Defending Champs. Her Ability To Play At Any Pace While Running The 'Lady Cats Offense Was Very Instrumental In Games Where A Floor General Was Needed. She's The Yin To Ross' Yang In The Wossman Backcourt And Something Tells Me She's Poised For Even More Next Season.
Season Averages: 14 Ppg, 7 APG, 5 SPG
