Woman 's Worst Nightmare

A Monroe man is facing serious charges for his alleged involvement in taking a female against her will and taking her to his apartment, allegedly forcing her to perform explicit acts on him. Enderrell Hawkins, 38, is accused of allegedly taking a female victim by force from West Monroe to his apartment on Ferrand Street in Monroe. The saga all began when the Monroe Police officers were called to Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe on March 14, 2023 for a complaint from the victim that she was allegedly raped by Hawkins. The victim said that she knew the suspect as Trey, as he drove her to his apartment, and after getting there, he made her exit the vehicle with the threat of violence against her. After they got into the apartment, the victim said that she was forced to remove her clothing and told to shower, while Hawkins is alleged to have washed her clothing. According to reports, the victim wanted to take a second shower, hoping she would have an opportunity to escape or at least find a weapon to protect herself. Hawkins allegedly used a large bag and a plant to prevent the victim from leaving. While allegedly holding the victim against her will, police say Hawkins took Snapchat photographs of himself with the victim's phone, which showed 8:52 M. Police say that the victim was forced to consume Malibu rum, marijuana, and consume meth, as he allegedly touched her body throughout the time that she was at the apartment. Not long after, Hawkins allegedly forced the victim to perform an oral sex act on him and then took her to his bedroom. The victim, according to MPD, tried to tell Hawkins that she had a condition where intercourse was painful for her, but Hawkins refused to stop his alleged assault. The victim would begin to cry, which led Hawkins to stop and let her get dressed to take her back to West Monroe. The victim was able to tell MPD certain details about Hawkins' apartment, specifically that he had a camera that faced the parking lot, his vehicle, and a height/weight description of him and where he lived. Based on that information, officers also spoke to someone who said that someone matching the description given to them of Hawkins lived at the apartment. While waiting to obtain a search warrant, officers noticed an individual matching Hawkins' description carrying two white trash bags from the apartment to the dumpster. Officers observed Hawkins go back into the apartment. Officers soon knocked on the door, apprehended Hawkins, and showed him a copy of the search warrant. They found 10.3 grams of marijuana, a large bottle of Malibu rum, a rolled-up blue Doritos bag inside a small container with his name on it, two-cut straws inside the container, a debit card with Hawkins' name on it, white powder residue, and a large plant. Hawkins allegedly admitted to picking up the victim, but he denied the story of the photographs, instead blaming that on the victim, saying she took them. Hawkins said that the victim was not forced to take off her clothes or take a shower and that the sex acts were consensual. Hawkins said that the victim showered before leaving but changed his story, saying that the second shower occurred before they had sex. Officers said that Hawkins gave inconsistent statements, as he denied the drugs found were not his. The victim told officers that Hawkins viewed footage from the camera to see who passed in front/near his vehicle. Officers told Hawkins that a live feed occurred on his camera, corroborating the victim's account that Hawkins did what she told officers. Officers said Hawkins appeared to express little remorse or emotions over his alleged actions, but, ironically, he allegedly became emotional, claiming that he wouldn't commit such a crime.

Officers determined that because of inconsistencies in Hawkins' statements based on the victim's and based on the evidence obtained, he was arrested. He is(as of press time) being held without bond and facing charges of False Imprisonment, Second-Degree Rape, and Sexual Battery.
