Shots Fired at Police Again

Disclaimer: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. According to police reports, a suspect is being sought for allegedly firing shots at MPD officers who were in the vicinity of South 12th Street near Parkview St. in Monroe, LA. The shooting occurred in the 1600 block of South 12th Street on Sunday, February 5, 2023. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for the arrest or conviction by a grand jury of the alleged shooter. Law enforcement authorities say that Issazavian Webb has been identified as the shooter who allegedly fired at officers with an AR-15-style rifle. Webb, police allege, fled the area and hasn't been located as of press time. The alleged incident occurred on Sunday, February 5, 2023 and Webb was identified as the shooter on Monday, February 6, 2023. The reward was offered the following day, Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Webb is wanted on three counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder. Officers ask that anyone knowing the whereabouts of Webb should call 318-329-2600.
