Southside/SEDD Shambles

There are many to blame for the deplorable conditions in most areas of the southside of Monroe LA, but residents are most at fault for allowing conditions to become so dire. The residents of the southside have not held its representatives accountable for achieving goals that signal progression for the area, nor have residents submitted a plan in writing to elected city council representatives, which would hold them accountable for the community’s demise.

Voters and residents have attended numerous community meetings, but still, nothing has been visibly done to improve the southside community....
