Mrs. Frances Reddix's Treasured Legacy

April 1,1928 to January 9, 2023

Mrs. Frances Olee Pierce Reddix - mother, wife, educator, activist, and dignitarian - ascended to her next transition to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Dr. John Ira Reddix, and is succeeded by her four remaining daughters, Dr. Johnetta McCalla (Eric McCalla), Attorney Brenda Reddix-Smalls (Milton Smalls), Dr. Ollibeth Reddix, and Dr. Irance Reddix McCray(Jimmie McCray). She also leaves a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren to which her legacy will remain. Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Little Flower Catholic Church in Monroe, LA. A ceremony hosted by Delta Sigma Theta will be held at the church at 12:30 PM, along with a public viewing, 12:00 - 2:00 PM prior to her formal funeral service.
