There are 13 essential vitamins - vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate). Vitamins have different jobs to help keep the body working properly.What happens if you lack vitamins? Without these nutrients, the body produces red blood cells that are too large and don't work properly. This reduces their ability to carry oxygen. Symptoms can include fatigue, shortness of breath and dizziness. Vitamin supplements, taken by pill or injection, can correct the deficiencies.What are the 5 types of supplements?
