Damardrick Blunt was named DownSouth Sports Magazine MVP for the Carroll vs. Sterlington game held on September 23, 2022 in Sterlington, LA. The undefeated (5-0) Bulldogs defeated the Panthers by the score of 34-20. It was Carroll's first victory over Sterlington since the Panthers moved to Class 3A. Blunt led the Bulldog's charge with168 all purpose yards 1 TD as a receiver, with one rushing TD for 45 yards, and passed for a 30 yard TD.
