Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
Remember the word that I said to you, “A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” John 15:20
Prayer: Father, I am thankful to be a follower of Jesus. Through His teaching, I know my union with Him will bring suffering and persecution from the world. Father, my loyalty belongs to You. With Your Spirit in me, I will stand no matter what the world does to me. I am forever safe in You.
Confession: A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Jesus, they will also persecute me.
Wednesday and Thursday
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10
Prayer: Father, I choose to rely on Your grace. For Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is strongest when I am weak. So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses. Father, for when I am weak in human strength, then I am truly strong and powerful in Your divine strength. To God be the Glory!
Confession: I delight in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Friday and Saturday
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. 1 Peter 3:13-14
Prayer: Father God, I praise and worship You. I love You and dedicate myself to be a follower of what is good. Even if I suffer for doing what is right, I am blessed. Father, I refuse to worry or be afraid by their opposition. May my life please You.
Confession: I am a follower of what is good. If I should suffer for righteousness’ sake, I am blessed. I will not be afraid of them or their threats.
