According to reports, two incidents involving officers from Monroe Police Department occurred in the area of Plum St. and South 3rd St. On Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2022, the MPD SWAT Team arrived in the area dressed in heavy tactical gear, as if they were about to go to war with unknown criminals.
