Ethan Howell is the creator and owner of Mittz. Born and raised in Monroe, LA, Howell now lives in Dallas, TX. He is a graduate and former football player at Oklahoma State University, where he played as Wide Receiver; he was drafted into the NFL by the Washington Redskins, now called the Washington Commanders in 2000. His love for the game of football helped in finding an innovative way to improve the technique in football which led him to achieve a design patent for Mittz. Howell was awarded a design patent in June of 2021 from the United States Design Patent Office. With his Mittz Utility Football Mitt offensive linemen experience less holding calls while Mittz Performance reinforces behavioral change, leading to less offensive holding. There was an average of 21.13 offensive holding penalties per team, league wide in 2021. Ethan Howell is the son of Rev. Delles and Shelia Howell.
