Shooting

According to police reports, a shooting happened on Monday, August 22, 2022, where a Bailbondman was involved in shooting a victim on Hwy 165 S near Interstate 20. A victim was found on Hwy 165 S with a gunshot wound after being hit by a Bailbondsman while the victim tried to run away. Several other Bailbondsmen attempted to subdue the victim by firing their weapons at the victim, too, as he was being sought because he had extremely high bond rates from numerous charges. The victim was taken to the hospital, has had surgeries, and is now recovering. Police arrested Bailbondsman Caleb Antley on an Attempted Manslaughter charge. Although the Bailbondsmen fired their weapons at the victim, detectives determined who was responsible from evidence and statements, which led to an arrest. There are three sides to every story.
