Police officers of the Monroe Police Department and other law enforcement officers within the Ouachita Parish area are looking for a suspected gunman involved in a recent shooting. According to MPD, a shooting happened Aug. 19, 2022 ( Friday) around 2:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Matthew St. in Monroe. The shooting officers said, occurred near the Jesus the Good Shepard School.
