Mary Ann Drummer departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Ouachita Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. Sister Drummer was born February 8, 1932, in Rayville, LA. She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She was faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. She served on the Mission board and Pastor's Aide Committee.
She retired from ULM f/k/a Northeast Louisiana University after 26 years of service. Mary Ann affectionately known as "Mom" lived in the Booker T community. She was a pillar of her community where she loved, feed, and welcomed all. Her moto was to always love others. Mary Ann was proceeded in death by her parents Ed and Lillian Bell Drummer, her daughter Lillian Ann "Sally" Drummer, her son Glenn Drummer, 2 sisters Odessa Johnson and Martha Hamilton, 2 brothers Ed Drummer, Jr., and William Earl Mickle. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons James "Jim" Drummer, Melvin "Wayne" Drummer, Gregory "Guy" Drummer, Donald Ray "Don" Drummer (Kimberly), her daughter Renee "Lisa" Drummer, 2 sisters Betty Gilbert and Joyce Louise Drummer, 3 brothers Allen Drummer, Bobby Ray Drummer, and Larry Wayne Jackson, 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Graveside memorial services were Saturday July 12, 2022 at Richwood Memorial Gardens in Richwood LA.
