Remembering Maydell Spears

Maydell Batiste Spears was a former Educator and coach with The Monroe City School System. She worked at Carroll and Neville High Schools in Monroe LA. In the community she was a huge advocate for Sickle Cell Anemia and Jump Rope for Heart raising thousands of dollars throughout the years. Her husband Elvin Spears Sr. preceded her in death. To their union three children were born.
