Juneteenth

The Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum at 1051 Chenault Park Dr. in Monroe LA and the Board of Directors are presenting “Juneteenth 2022 – Free and Empowered”. The juried art will be displayed from June 1, 2022, until June 30, 2022. Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. The museum will be displaying art entries from Elementary students, Jr. High students, High School Students, and adult artists. The public is invited to tour the museum and select winners in each category. The winners will be determined by a vote through ballots purchased for $1.00 each (one per ballot). There will be two public programs at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and Thursday, June 30, 2022; free admission and masks are required on site. Sunday, June 19, 2022, is Family Fun Day at the museum from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. free admission, Concessions will be offered.
