ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Separate sealed BIDS for the Water Pollution Control Center (WPCC) UV Disinfection System Parts will be received by the City of Monroe, at the Purchasing Division, located at 1014 Grammont Street, Monroe, Louisiana 71201. Bids will be received until 1:45 P.M., on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Bids will be publicly opened in the Purchasing Division Conference Room, at the above-mentioned address, at 2:00 P.M.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, SPECIFICATIONS, and ADDENDA, may be examined at the following location:

All Bidders MUST obtain copies of Bidding Documents from City of Monroe Purchasing Division by contacting Angel Ware [email protected], thereby being added to the Bidders’ List. Bidders from vendors not on the Bidders’ List will not be accepted. Name of vendor must match that of the name on the Bidders’ List, under which the Request for Bid was requested. Sealed bids must identify, on the outside envelope, the name of the vendor.

Bidders also have the option to submit bids electronically. To submit a bid electronically, bidders must register at http://www.QuestCDN.com (Quest Project No. 2022-00000042). Bidders submitting bids electronically must obtain copies of Request for Proposal from the technical consultant as indicated elsewhere herein.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause per State Public Bid Law.

A corporate resolution authorizing a representative of the corporation to sign the bid must accompany the bid, if the bidder is a corporation. Such activities will be in accordance with Title 38:2237 of the Louisiana Revised Statues.

No Bidders may withdraw his/her bid within Forty-Five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

An award shall be made to the responsible bidder or bidders whose bid is determined in writing by the governing authority of the City of Monroe to be the most advantageous for each chemical, taking into consideration price and other evaluation factors set forth in the Information for Bidders.

MINORITY OWNED FIRMS AND SMALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS REQUEST FOR BIDS.
