Treasured Memory

Charlotte Crayton was one of those rare people who knew how to push all the right buttons to get the job done. She was well respected throughout Monroe, LA, in her neighborhood, and among the seniors at Emily P. Robinson Community Center. Charlotte was a church pillar at her church, Little Flower Catholic Church, where she was a devoted Grand Lady of the Knights of Peter Claver Auxiliary Organization. She had an elegance about herself that others always immediately noticed. Her demeanor was warm, and her presence was always a special blessing. Her greatest pride was found in her family; it was surely reflected in how she loved and cared for children. Mrs. Crayton went home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Crayton. Left to cherish fond memories is her daughter Denise Holmes (Frank), son Lawrence Crayton, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. Her funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Monroe, LA. The Ladies Auxiliary of St. Peter Claver service will be held at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 AM, officiated by Fr. Adrian Fischer, OFM. Her funeral services are entrusted to Hester Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
