No Struggle, No Progress

Don't Exclude Youth!

Mark 9:37 Whoever welcomes one of these little children in My name welcomes Me; and whoever welcomes Me does not welcome Me but the one who sent Me.” Many times, we hear of the youth, that they are our future, but honestly, we must see them as our right now. Way too many are being lost, and every time it happens, purpose is buried. Yes, purpose, because God created us on purpose, for a purpose, even those most would look down upon. Jesus expressed great love for the children. He even warned others about harming them. That harm, is neglecting, forsaking or hindering too. Monroe elected officials, DO NOT hinder the children, by forgetting their recreational, occupational and educational opportunities. Idle minds can become a community’s problem and bring much sorrow. A whole community can be torn down, just because the youth in it, are not built up. Our youth need something constructive and productive to do. You have the power and resources to make that happen. As you build up Monroe; as you change the scenery; as you move forward as OneRoe, do not exclude (even unintentionally), the children. Many stars and successful adults, have come right out of areas where recreation, love, inclusion and support were prevalent, even when very little else was. Mayor, city council and all other elected officials: Our youth is our right now too. Think on them as you build, restore, allocate and beautify.
