No Struggle, No Progress
The road to glory has no appointed time or date. There are no warning signs of when your final day on earth will be, nor will there be a day marked on the calendar prior too! Hearts are saddened at the passing of American Hero Veteran Charles Grayson. He was a Monroe native who grew up in Ghost Town in Monroe LA between Coolidge and Prospects Streets. Grayson was a Carroll High School Graduate. From high school Grayson went to the military serving his country being awarded three purple hearts. He was a member of F.D. Thompson Post 521 where he served as Post Commander. Thanks to all the veterans as Charles Grayson for their outstanding courage and commitment to freedom. These fine Americans past and present have given so much to our great country. Because of them, we have the rights of life better than any other nation. We have the right to live at peace in our homes. We have the right to pursue happiness. We have the right to freely proclaim the word of God. Now understand there is a memorial every Sunday and to others every Saturday to our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Grayson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 2, 2021. His funeral services will be announced from the funeral home. Preceding him in death was his brother Dr. Willie B. Grayson.
