No Struggle, No Progress

Carroll's Fort LA Representation

Congratulations to Naiya Fort, who has been selected to serve as the Region 1 State Vice President for Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). The organization's mission is to empower students to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaborations, and experiences. Fort will soon travel to Washington DC, attending the Washington Leadership Academy as a Louisiana delegate. While there she will explore our nation's capital, meet with top government officials, attend various workshops, and network with peers selected to represent their prospective states.

Fort is the daughter of Ms. Stephaine Harris. She is a sophomore honor student at Carroll High School , member of the Monroe Chapter of Top Teens of America, and member of the senior performance group at Dazzle Dance in Monroe LA. Best of luck in Washington DC, Naiya! The Carroll Nation is certainly proud of her and hope that the entire community will share in the excitement.
