Jessie Dougan lll's Final Farewell

Jessie James Dougan, III was born September 28, 1969 to the late Jessie Dougan, Jr. and Erma Edwards Dougan. He transitioned on August 21, 2021. Jessie graduated from Wossman High School in 1987. He attended Grambling State University where he played football under the great coach Eddie Robinson. Jessie loved sports and would attend events as often as possible. Jessie was employed at Lashley Paint Supply. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church of Alto, La under the leadership of Pastor Tom Baker. Jessie was the proud father of Christopher Swinson, Mariyah Kelly and Kadorian Dougan. He will be cherished in memory by his siblings Karen Jackson (Frederick), Sherry Edwards, and Neitacha Dougan along with many other relatives and friends. A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Greater New Antioch Baptist Church, 301 Sherrouse Ave. in Monroe, LA. Visitation is Friday, August 27, 2021 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM at Hester Central State Funeral Home in Monroe, LA. Please remember his family in prayer.
