Funeral Fight

Funerals are held to respect the memory and legacy of those whose lives have come to an end in this life. According to sources on Saturday, May 22, 2021 a altercation allegedly broke out at a funeral at Log Town Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. Sources shared that the deceased relative’s brother was consoling his sister when a distant relative was heard saying, "I got this.” From there an argument ensued, and a knife was pulled. Police were called to the church. Once they arrived, a relative allegedly asked police to leave, saying that it was a family thing. Police stayed around to keep the peace while the service resumed. There are three sides to every story. This was one side of this story. The Monroe Dispatch welcomes the other or another side of this story.
